Laundry

I'm not a big fan of doing it, but I LOVE the way it smells.

Like when you walk down the laundry detergent aisle in a store. mmmmmm. Sometimes I walk through there just for kicks.

Or when you're outside of a house, and at first you think it may be on fire, because there's smoke coming out of it, but it's really just steam or whatnot from the dryer vent, and you walk a little closer and you can smell the "clean". So wonderful.

Dryer sheets are essential. They make everything smell pretty and make the chore of laundry that much more enjoyable.

(These are my favorite)

Call me a housewife, but I'm definitely a sucker for clean laundry.

Freedom

No more care plans, no more (drug) books, no more patient's dirty looks.
Clinical is almost over, and I am very excited.

Ok that was a lie.
I am absolutely ECSTATIC that I will now have wednesday - sunday free and that I will be able to do WHATEVER I WANT.
(which honestly means i'll probably still be studying. Not that I want to study what feels like every second of my life, but it is essential. Ho hum)

Regardless of the nursing school (aka "ball and chain") I WILL visit college park and get catch up with some of my favorite people.

I can't wait.

I'm missing a lot.

Brains? possibly. Mental capacity? slowly dwindling. Sanity? definitely gone.
But what I really meant was that there have been little reminders here and there of things that I really miss.

Example #1: ZETA
I was watching Greek and looking at pictures from big little reveal and was thinking about all of the things I LOVE about Greek life, Tiger Family, and the amazing people residing in #12 frat row.

Nursing school is lovely, and I've met some amazing new people, but there are many things I miss about my previous two years of college.
I miss these girls so much!!!

Which brings me to my next example
#2: COLLEGE PARK
Believe it or not I miss it. Shootings, cuddlers, riots . . . I miss it all.
But I really miss my friends and yogiberry

This stuff is so amazing you would miss it too. Though it appears this yogiberry is lacking Mochi, which is an essential part of the experience.
But for clarification purposes I miss my friends TONS more.

Example #3: CAMP
I always miss camp. Everyone. Everything.
Viva la Canada

But I especially miss these people

OBVIOUSLY.

I feel like the significant lack of these things in my life will resolve in time. As soon as i'm finished with clinical and crazy hospital hours I'll be in CP, with my favorite Zeta ladies, and summer will be here before you know it.
But until then I'll just have to stare at the countdowns on my mac dashboard. Sad.

SPRING!

Is here.
At least I hope it sticks around for a while, until august maybe? I guess it's technically summer then.
But today is technically spring, and you know what that means:

Vernal Equinox
(I have no idea what this means but it was one of the first things that came up when I google imaged "vernal equinox")

FLOWERS!

Tulips are my favorite.
I want them in my wedding.

crocus5.jpg

I like crocus too. They're tough little buggers, and usually the first to pop up.

But I really like Daffodils too.
We have baby ones in our yard.

aaaaaaaand -

Free Rita's!
So delicious.

I was also able to nap outside, which was AWESOME. We don't have a hammock - or it's broken or something, so I resorted to our trampoline, and after clearing maybe 8 Lbs of pine needles off, it ended up being a lovely napping spot.

I love naps, and flowers, and rita's, and SPRING.

MacBook Love

I'm no longer a wannabe mac user. My parents graciously purchased one so that my mother can use my old laptop for her Irish dance dress embroidery software (I bed you didn't know that existed!) Needless to say, I'm VERY happy at the moment.
